The LED has quickly become a break-through solution to many lighting needs. Any environment exposed to the harsh conditions of vibration, dirt, oil, impact a solid-state (no movable parts, like a filament in a regular light bulb) solution is called for which makes LEDs especially fitting for R/C applications. Starting with the brightest LEDs available to any industry a driving system was developed to adequately power each LED needed for orientation in the night. This LED Lighting System is known as Plug-N-Play. Using connectors with .100" spacing common to all R/C RX plugs a LED can be easily powered from any channel on the LED Controller.

The LED Controller is the backbone of any Lighting System. It is from this controller that all lighting functions and sequences are obtained. Even the standard controller takes an input voltage and splits the LEDs into two groups both individually powered using optional electronic switches to decode signals from the R/C receiver.

The wire used to connect the LEDs to the LED Controller is lightweight copper with a high strand count and rugged PVC coating for ultimate flexibility and protection from fuel and dirt. Wire easily mounts with aluminum tape included with every LED Lighting System.

When designing the Plug-N-Play system every brand and make of R/C model was in the forethought of inception. UNIVERSAL is key. No matter what you control, a RC-LIGHTS R/C LED Lighting System will mount with ease. Using included zip ties and bases the LED controller mounts to any body or chassis.
