All RC-LIGHTS LEDs are sourced to be of the brightest available to industry.  These LEDs are blindingly bright; DO NOT look directly into the beam. You will not find the MCD ratings for any of our LEDs because it does not accurately reflect the amount of light coming from the LED.  Lumens is what determines how much light is actually there.  Whites and greens are the brightest with an average 3-4 lumen output, reds and ambers 1.5-2 lumen, and blue is around 1 lumen due to the part of the light spectrum it is in. In the end you will find a RC-LIGHTS LED to be incredibly bright when held next to a RadioShack LED and even the LEDs of those boasting the big MCD ratings.
