ELECTRONIC BRAKE SWITCH (EBS)

Use this electronic switch to add dual intensity brake light action to any bank of up to 4 LEDs.  Power toggles between on/dim (current limited) depending on the position of the throttle trigger read from the TX throttle channel signal. One set of output pins for connecting to a LED Controller, and one set of input pins for the throttle servo or ESC to eliminate the need for a Y-harness.

Pins can be soldered to for a hardwired connection. Pins can also be removed if they will not used.

EBS output pins align with the WHITE-RED-BLACK wires of the switch itself. The WHITE output pin is the SWITCHED GROUND (-) connection that actually toggles power to the connected LED controller. The RED output pin is POSITIVE (+), the same positive as the RX it is plugged into. The BLACK output pin is constant GROUND (-), the same ground as the RX it is plugged into. The EBS or throttle servo input pins pass directly though the switch to the WHITE-RED-BLACK wires of the switch itself.

If a RX Direct2LED™ will be used, discard or save the 3 wire link cable for future use.  Plug the EBS into the RX throttle channel. Plug the 1x3P connector side of the link cable (or RX Direct2LED™) into the EBS bottom row of output pins (TOP side has the switches). Use wiring polarity BLACK-BLACK, BLUE-RED, WHITE-WHITE with the link cable. For RX Direct2LED™ use wiring polarity RED-RED, BLACK-WHITE. Plug the 2x2P connector side of the link cable into the 10 LED Controller; jumper removed, notch UP. Plug the ESC or throttle servo into the EBS top row (side with switches) of input pins.

LED CONTROLLER OPTION SELECTION DIP SWITCHES

LEFT SWITCH (1) BRAKE LIGHTS : Brake lights dim/full intensity at center-stick (choose if brake lights are on or off at idle)

RIGHT SWITCH (2) THROTTLE REVERSE : Reverses the throttle signal input (if brake lights turn on with gas then flip this switch)
