RCL106 Step by Step

6 LED SYSTEM FOR RPM ROOF CANISTERS [3MM, 14”]

STEP 1 STEP 2
Install the RPM Roof Canisters. Drill three 1/4" holes across the roof line or one larger 3/8” hole in the center to allow wires to pass through the body. Use RPM Body Savers (#RPM80332) to further protect wires from rub damage. Uninstall the RPM Roof Canisters. Locate the six 14” Wire Extensions, six 3mm White LEDs, six 2P housings and one 6x2P housing. Remove housings from each end of the 14” wire extensions.
STEP 3 STEP 4
Following Plug and Play Connector – Heavy Duty Off-Road Use Assembly Instructions assemble the LED side of each wire extension. Insert LEDs into RPM Roof Canisters. Picture shows this step completed. Feed wires through the hole(s) previously drilled and reinstall RPM Roof Canisters. Twist LED pairs together and insert each wire extension into the 6x2P housing keeping all the positive-blue on one side and all the negative-black on the other. Use zip ties to ensure wires remain twisted together. Picture shows this step completed.
STEP 5

Using the provided mounting base and zip tie, mount the Standard 10 LED controller to the RPM front bumper. Plug the 6x2P housing into LED1-6 on the LED controller (blue-top-positive; black-bottom-negative.) Plug the 2P housing side of the RX Plug wire into PWR (red-top-positive; black-bottom-negative) and the 3P RX end into any open channel on the RX. If no extra channels are available use a RX Pass-Thru™ (#RCL5074) or a Y-harness. Picture shows this step completed.
Before you begin installation onto the vehicle/body: completely read through these instructions, setup/configure your lighting system, and test it to ensure proper operation. Before ever applying power to the LEDs check & double-check your wire connections to ensure the LEDs are plugged into the right channels on the LED controller. LEDs blown due to incorrect installation wiring are not covered by warranty. Connecting LEDs directly to power will blow them immediately.
