Use this calculator to approximate how much run time you will loose connecting a LED lighting system to your RX (receiver). Some typical system configurations are shown below the calculator.
CURRENT RUN TIME (IN MINUTES) Enter the number of minutes your vehicle currently runs on a full battery charge.
BATTERY CAPACITY (mAh RATING) Enter the cell capacity of your battery (usually on the outside of the battery; rated in mAh; standard AA alkaline battery ~2750mAh).
LED SYSTEM mA (SEE CHART BELOW) Enter the current rating of the LED system you are planning to install (if doing a custom setup take the number of LEDs * 20).
NEW RUN TIME (IN MINUTES) * Calculated number of minutes your vehicle will run on a full battery charge after installing the LED system.
TOTAL RUN TIME LOSS (IN SECONDS) Calculated number of seconds of run time you will loose by installing the LED system.
% LOSS What percentage of the battery goes toward powering the LED system. If greater than 25% a separate battery source should be used to power the LED system.
