All Plug-N-Play systems require
a power source. An appropriate power source is any
device that supplies between 3.6 and 7.4 volts DC. The
on-board battery, the receiver, a 9V battery (with voltage
reducing circuitry), 3AA batteries, and even your watch
batteries are all sources of power. As long as the
device supplies voltage in the given range your LEDs will
light, if this range is exceeded the LEDs will incur damage.
